| Description: |     Featuring Music by: Janani Logendran & Toni Lindgren, Tim Mahoney, and Joel Kachel! Last year Logan Adelmann(11), and her sister, Bailey Adelmann(10), came up with an idea to help empower girlz and boyz. Maverick Championz, an organization they currently help lead, works with the community, volunteers alongside charities, donates time and goods, and orchestrates seminars, retreats and conferences. They are teaching self love, responsibility, leadership, life skills and social awareness. November 18th, 2009 commemorates the First Anniversary. Rather than throwing a huge party for The Mavericks, The Championz are giving back by teaming up with Charity Warriors and ME & C ,Inc., to host a night of musical fund raising and awareness for Colon Cancer. The Maverick Championz develop, encourage, empower and motivate youth to reach within themselves to enjoy the wonders of their uniqueness through social involvement fostering team-building, life-management, confidence building and community awareness; shared with parents and peers taught by mentors through seminars, recreational events and one to one guidance. The cornerstones of each journey are carefully placed to create true leadership qualities paved with honor, empowered with dignity, grounded by respect and bridged to pathways that are built from self responsibility, accountability, commitment, dedication and community outreach.
